Product Review | Munchkin Infant/Toddler Products

Hey everyone! You’re either here because you love reading my posts or you’re a parent of an infant or toddler. Now that Malcolm is eating more solid foods and drinking A LOT of water daily, I wanted to share my personal review on some of their products.

Munchkin White Hot Safety Spoon

I Love the white hot tip, and love isn’t even close to how I feel about these spoons. We were using the soft tip spoons at first and I’m not going to lie, they are amazing to use if you haven’t heated the food. The soft tip is easy on their precious gums and even may become a tether for them. But the day my mom came home with a pack of the white hot tip spoons, I was INLOVE!!

Some of the key features I love about these spoons are the long curved handle design that makes it easier to feed M when he’s in his high chair with the tray on. The spoon tip not only starts to change white instantly if food is hotter then 40C/110F but it’s also curved perfectly to fit into a babies mouth. Also when it comes to cleaning, if you’re a lazy momma like myself, then you’ll be happy to know that their are top-rack dishwasher safe.

Click Lock Weighted Flexi-Straw Cup

img_0021Another Munchkin product that I fell in-love with is the Click-Lock Weighted Flexi-Straw Cup which we received as a baby shower gift. I love that there’s a weight at the bottom of the straw allowing M to get water no matter what angle he’s holding the cup at. The cup also has handles attached to the lid, making it easier for a M to hold onto the cup; I’m sure when he’s done needing handles well move onto the 10oz Weighted Straw Cup. The soft, relatable straw is gentle on the gums & also come in handy for teething babies.

There’s also no need to worry about your little one breaking the straw because you can head over to munchkin.ca and order replacement weighted flex straws. One of the things I loved when I unpackaged the cup was finding that it includes a flexible, handy cleaning brush to get inside the straw during cleaning. There is every a flip cap to cover the straw to make travel easy but also makes the leak proof a myth…

Pump Brush

Back in the summer, I had asked for recommendations for bottle brushes as I was using the cheap dollar store bottle brushes and they kept breaking. An old friend from high school had recommended the Munchkin Latch Pump Brushes to me and stated that it comes with TWO smaller brushes for easy nipple cleaning and of course what it’s meant for, cleaning in the smart parts of your breast pump.

What I love about this brush is that the bristles come out of the handle itself rather than a head attached to the handle that can easily pop off. Another thing I found out by thinking I broke the brush is that the orange cap on the end of the handle, it’s made to hold the two smaller brushes!! NEAT AYE?!? This brush has its special place at the back of my sink & the two smaller brushes come in real handy for the days I do need to pump.

I’m sure the older and more of an experienced eater M becomes, Ill discover more Munchkin products to fall in love will. Well considering 90% of his dishes and cutlery are Munchkin 🤷🏻‍♀️ that’s all for today guys, thanks for reading! – Malcolm’s Mommy
